CLEO GIEDZ — TERMS OF SERVICE & CLIENT AGREEMENT

1. Scope of Services

  • Cleo Giedz provides bespoke fine art tattoo services and original body artwork to private collectors.

  • Sessions may involve either premade available designs or custom-made bespoke artworks created specifically for the client.

  • Certain projects involve the delivery of a Certificate of Ownership for the commissioned artwork.

2. Booking and Payment

  • A non-refundable 1000 SEK Art Reservation Fee must be paid to confirm an appointment.

  • Bookings can be made online via cleogiedz.com (Squarespace + Acuity integration) or manually through Swish or Bank Transfer.

  • The Reservation Fee is separate from the final artwork fee and will not be refunded under any circumstance.

  • Rescheduling is allowed once, with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice.

  • Failure to notify within 72 hours or to reschedule a second time will result in loss of the Reservation Fee and a new fee will be required to rebook.

3. Pricing Structure

  • Pricing is determined based on a combination of factors, including design complexity, body placement, size, session time, and personal value assessment.

  • Final pricing may vary based on skin condition, client cooperation, and other unforeseen variables.

  • Full payment must be completed after the session, accepted via Swish (limit updated beforehand), Klarna (Pay Later), Card Payment, or Bank Transfer where applicable.

4. Cancellation and Lateness Policy

  • Clients must notify Cleo if they will be late; a 15-minute grace period is allowed.

  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late without prior communication may have their session canceled at Cleo’s discretion, and the Reservation Fee will be forfeited.

  • If Cleo must cancel or reschedule due to illness or other unavoidable events, the client’s Reservation Fee will be protected, and the one-time reschedule policy will not apply.

5. Client Health, Safety, and Responsibilities

  • Clients must be 18+ years old without exception, regardless of parental consent.

  • Clients must arrive sober, well-fed, rested, and wearing clean clothes with clean skin.

  • Clients are required to disclose any medical conditions, medications, allergies, skin disorders, or blood-transmittable diseases that may affect the tattoo process.

  • Cleo reserves the right to deny service if the client’s condition is not suitable for safe tattooing.

6. Design Ownership and Intellectual Property

  • All tattoo designs, whether custom or premade, are the intellectual property of Cleo Giedz.

  • Clients are granted the right to wear the design permanently but do not own reproduction rights.

  • Clients must credit Cleo Giedz when sharing images or videos publicly (by tagging @cleogiedz or stating the artist’s full name).

  • Unauthorized printing, selling, distribution, or usage of designs in any project without explicit written permission is prohibited.

7. Photography, Media, and Portfolio Use

  • Clients consent to Cleo Giedz taking photographs and videos during or after the session for documentation, portfolio, and promotional purposes.

  • Clients may be asked to return for healed tattoo photos or to submit high-resolution photos upon request.

  • Images will be shared respectfully, honoring the privacy and dignity of the bearer.

8. Certificate of Ownership

  • Fine Art tattoos created after 1 May 2025 will be accompanied by a Certificate of Ownership, issued post-payment and signed personally.

  • Certificates are unique, non-replicable, non-alterable, and may not be copied or reused.

  • If a certificate is discarded, it must be destroyed completely (e.g., torn, burned) to prevent misuse.

9. Special Cases — Client-Supplied Artwork

  • If a client provides their own artwork or illustration, the project will be treated purely as a tattoo service (not a Fine Art creation).

  • No Certificate of Ownership will be issued for such tattoos.

  • Tattoos based on client-supplied designs will not be included in Cleo’s portfolio or promotional material.

  • Clients agree not to associate such tattoos with Cleo Giedz’s professional name or brand online.

10. Touch-Up Policy

  • One complimentary touch-up is offered within 6 months of the initial session unless:

    • The tattoo is located on hands, fingers, or feet (high-wear areas).

    • Aftercare instructions were neglected.

    • The tattoo was exposed to infection, allergic reactions, or sun damage.

  • Touch-ups requested after 6 months will be considered a Restoration Session, billed at a flat rate of 1000 SEK regardless of size.

11. Studio Selection and Location

  • Tattoo sessions are held at selected, high-quality private studios personally vetted by Cleo for hygiene, safety, and privacy.

  • The location of the studio may vary based on the session, but all studios meet strict professional and environmental standards.

12. Communication and Representation

  • Communication with Cleo Giedz is typically conducted directly via email or booking systems.

  • During busy periods, an assistant may manage bookings and administrative communication on behalf of Cleo, with the same high standards of professionalism.

13. Liability Disclaimer

  • Clients accept that tattooing involves inherent risks including infection, allergic reactions, scarring, and dissatisfaction.

  • Cleo Giedz is not responsible for issues arising from client negligence, improper aftercare, undisclosed health conditions, or environmental exposure.

By booking, commissioning, or engaging with Cleo Giedz’s services, you agree to all terms outlined above, and acknowledge full responsibility for your choices and care of the artwork received.
